The development of assistive technologies addressed to older adults was under discussion at the University of Aveiro

On the 12th and 13th of July, a workshop and a tutorial on 'Assistive technologies addressed to older adults' were held at the University of Aveiro. The event is supported by the iNeighbourTV project with the collaboration of the project SEDUCE, inviting Konstantinos Chronianopoulos, the researcher of human-computer interaction and interactive television at the University of Ionian, as speaker.

A workshop and a tutorial on 'Assistive technologies addressed to older adults' were held at the University of Aveiro, from 12 to 13 of July.

These events had the purpose of bringing together the industry and academia in order to discuss the main recommendations for the development of assistive technologies taking ageing difficulties into account.

The meeting began on the 12th of July, with the following research presentations:

Furthermore, on July 13, the tutorial 'User interface software and hardware technology for interactive video prototyping was held at the Department of Communication an Art.

Konstantino Chronianopoulos, a researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interactive Television at the University of Ionian, was one of the invited speakers of the conference.
