The main objectives of the SEDUCE 2.0 project are: (a) to assess the impact of psychosocial variables and Online Sociability of senior citizens through the use of Information and Communication Technologies; and (b) contribute to the growing development of the miOne community with the participation of senior citizens.
The SEDUCE 1.0 project - Use of Communication and Information technologically mediated in Web ecologies by senior citizens is financed by FCT and the COMPETE program, ref. PTDC / CCI / COM / 111711/2009
The miOne community is developed with the active participation of senior citizens from Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS): Santa Joana Princesa Social Center (CSSJP), CESDA Foundation, S. Bernardo Parish Center (CPSB) and Patronato de Nossa Senhora de Vilar (PNSFV).
The SEDUCE project team runs the “Introduction to Multimedia” training unit of the training program for seniors at the University of Aveiro, called “Encontros com a Ciência”.
