miOne World is the 1st International Conference on Online Social Environments for Active Aging, bringing together researchers, professionals and industry representatives to discuss the design, development and evaluation of digitally mediated products for active aging, sense of community and well-being. The conference takes place online on the 22nd and 23rd of July 2021, being organized by the Department of Communication and Art – DigiMedia of the University of Aveiro in partnership with the University of Porto (FLUP) and the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (ESEV).
For two days, gerontechnology enthusiasts – researchers and community in general will be participating in the first international conference on Online Social Environments for Active Aging will discuss the contributions of gerontechnology and digital well-being in times of pandemic.
Call for abstracts is open until June 18, 2021 and There are 2 typologies of participation in this conference:
- Researchers who may present their scientific work in the field;
- Universities of the Third Age / Daycare centres / Associations or other entities that can share and present their experiences.
