Footour team unveils mobile game in ‘Internet Day’

On May 17, nearly 15h, the Footour team presented a location-based game that aims to promote senior tourism in Aveiro with the use of routes with Points-of-Interest in the event Internet Day 2019 that take place in CCCI, DeCA.

The event Internet Day 2019 begun at 9 a.m and ended at 5:30 p.m., being devoted to the theme ‘Interaction Culture.’ The event opened with the participation of Jeffrey Bardzell, professor at Indiana University, as keynote speaker and the rounded table with Prof. Emília Duarte (Universidade Europeia), Prof. Heitor Alvelos (FBAUP), Prof. Jorge Rosa (UNL) and  Prof. Licínio Roque (UC). The students’ projects in both undergraduate and Master’s degrees were presented followed by an informal moment of interaction between students and enterprises.

Footour was one of the groups, who presented their work in the event and obtained feedback from some of the representatives in such entreprises as  altice labs, critec, gocontact, rede inovaria, tice, pictonio,load digital consultancy,terraguarand learning2trading. The interaction between enterprises and students was moderated by Carlos Santos, professor at the University of Aveiro and researcher in the research project SEDUCE 2.0.
