On March 25, the members of the projects SEDUCE 2.0, Sapo Campus and GPS had a brainstorming session at 2 p.m. in order to draw up a set of functionalities that meet the purpose of the online community miOne and that can be added to the different platforms.
The researcher of the project SEDUCE 2.0, Carlos Santos, has begun the brainstorming session at the room 23.2.17 in order to present the purpose of the meeting and the goals of the project SEDUCE 2.0. He also explained the different areas of the online community and challenged the teams to answer the following question: “In what way the different services of the online community miOne can foster a sense of community?’
Groups of 4 elements were divided according to different areas of the online community and a set of functionalities were drawn up in order to meet the following objectives:
- Games: Stimulate the older adults’ cognitive capacity, physical activity and social interaction;
- News: Encourage the access to the news and foster participation in society through the interaction with different media;
- Health: Encourage different health habits (Nutrition, Physical Activity…) and different therapies; and
- Communication/Sharing: Foster the participants’ communication and sharing of relevant experiences.






Sprints for a 2-minutes pitch of each idea and mockups were carried out. The participants of this session were Ana Veloso, Carlos Santos, Cátia Amador, Henrique Silva, João Campos, José Dias, Liliana Costa, Miguel Antunes, Óscar Mealha, Sónia Ferreira, e Vasco Silva.
