The online community miOne arrives for the adult learners at the University of Third Age of Esmoriz

On the February 5th, the first session out of seven relative to the online community miOne took place at the University of Third Age of Esmoriz. The first session started nearly at 10:30 a.m. and ended around 12:00 a.m.

On October 5, 2019, the first session out of seven relative to the evaluation of the online community miOne took place at the University of Third Age of Esmoriz.

In the game ‘More Than Words’, the participants were divided into two groups and the representatives of each group randomly selected one of the cards in the deck. Each participant suggested words related to the selected term (e.g., Share, Trust, Activity, Familiar) and when asked what they would like to have in an online community, some of the answers were: nutrition, voice commands, and travelling information.

At the end of the session, the questionnaires were collected and the next sessions were scheduled.

These sessions are carried out under the Master in Multimedia Communication within the SEDUCE 2.0 research project by Sónia Machado. Her research work focuses on the development of a UX Kit for Senior Online Communities. The following members of the research team have also participated in the activities: Francisco Regalado, Henrique Silva and Liliana Costa.
