On October 7th, the first validation session relative to the Online Sociability Scale with 8 participants aged between 18-30 was held at the Department of Communication and Art, which lasted approximately 60 minutes.
On October 7, 2019, the first validation of the Online Sociability Scale involving 9 participants aged between 18-30 was held at the Department of Communication and Art, University of Aveiro.
Each discussion group lasted approximately 60 minutes and was subdivided into the following tasks: T1. Introduction in which the purpose of Focus Group and Scale and procedures in data use, data protection and informed consent are explained. This was followed by the warm-up period in which participants were asked about the social networks and / or communities they used; your motivations and activities.
Finally, the session ended with an analysis of the concept of ‘being social’, ‘antisocial’ and ‘being social on the network’ as well as completing the proposed scale and its evaluation.
