On April 9, 2019, a test session on the game Footour was held at the University of Third Age Gafanha da Nazaré. The undergraduate students in New Technologies of Communication Diogo Carvalho, João Sampaio and Sofia Ribeiro, assisted by the researcher of the project SEDUCE 2.0 Liliana Costa and the Master’s student in Multimedia Communication, Cláudia Ortet, tested the key functionalities of the game.
On April 9, 2019, Diogo Carvalho, João Sampaio, Sofia Ribeiro, Liliana Costa and Cláudia Ortet met at the University of Third Age Gafanha da Nazaré at 3 p.m. to test the game Footour.
Footour is a game that combines the physical and digital space, promising to be a different tourist experience with points of interest and narratives that are translated into resources and (re) construction of cities in the online community miOne.
A group of four adult learners at the University of Third Age Gafanha da Nazaré participated in the test of the key functionalities and interfaces for both the mobile devices and the game in the browser. The test lasted 2.5 hours and the participants’ feedback from the t served to redesign some features and clarify some doubts.
The researcher Liliana Costa and the MCMM student Cláudia Ortet also took the opportunity to present the activities related to the dissertation of ‘Gamification and Senior Cyclo-tourism: Design Proposal for the miOne community’, inviting them to participate in the next sessions.
