The SEDUCE 2.0 Project team created a set of activities and support for Senior Universities considering the emergency measures imposed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and given the unpredictability of the face-to-face resumption of teaching activities.
On April 12, 2020, the miOne team outlined an activity plan and intervention plan “Distant, but united in miOne.”, in order to maintain contact with Universities of Third Age and provide a set of tools that teachers and students can use to share content and streamline their online activities.
The online community miOne is an online space for inter and intra-generational social interaction, for sharing information and activities among its members. In addition, it offers a range of communication, health, tourism and news services.
This community intends to maintain an open channel of communication (between students-students and students-teachers) and mitigate the effects of social distance, always maintaining cognitive stimulation and playfulness. It also intends to promote the possibility of discussing and sharing information and documents in groups dedicated to each subject at the Universities of Third Age.
In addition it is possible to creating groups for the different disciplines and share resources associated with them. The miOne team has also prepared a set of sessions that aim to stimulate social interactions through the platform.
