On June 30, 2021, RUTIS and PSE (Statistics Products and Services) delivered the RUTIS/PSE 2021 Academic Award – Active Ageing. The SEDUCE 2.0 project was present and awarded twice: Sónia Machado received the honorary 2nd Prize with her dissertation entitled “Co-designing a UX Toolkit for Senior Online Communities: The Case of the miOne Online Community”; and Francisco Regalado was the first place winner of the competitive award with his dissertation entitled “Gamifying News for the miOne Online Community”.

After the awards ceremony, Francisco presented his dissertation, reinforcing the main results obtained, namely the capacity that gamification elements have to promote reading, sharing, reaction and discussion habits with online news.
