Principal Researcher of the SEDUCE 2.0 Project Organizes the Special Track Older Adults in the Web Ecology Experiences in HCI2020

On July 24, 2020, the principal research of the SEDUCE 2.0 Project, Prof. Ana Veloso, organized the special track ‘Older Adults in the Web Ecology Experiences’ in the 22nd International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction HCI2020.

On July 24, 2020, the researcher responsible for the SEDUCE 2.0 Project, Prof. Ana Veloso, organized the special track ‘Older Adults in the Web Ecology Experiences’ in the 22nd edition of the international conference Human-Computer Interaction HCI2020, which took place in a virtual room from 19 to 24 July 2020.

This special track consisted of five presentations. Some researchers from the SEDUCE 2.0 project also participated in the conference, presenting their work.

The paper Gameful Tale-Telling and Place-Making from Tourists’ Generation to Generation reviews the potential use of game storytelling to foster family tourism and unite different generations while in a leisure-travel context.

 The paper Footour: Designing and Developing a Location-Based Game for Senior Tourism in the miOne Community describes the process of designing, developing and assessing a Location-based Game for Senior Tourism, entitled Footour.
